Will be back in 2021! Executive Directors of small community based and grassroots organizations will build the capacity of their organizations by investigating community based best practices and building new organizational leadership skills.
For centuries, the Bible has been used by colonial powers to undergird their imperial designs--an ironic situation since so much of the Bible was conceived in the context of resistance to colonization.
Will be back 2021! The coaching cohort is for those who want to become practitioners who can evaluate and apply the theory, as well as teach others to do the same. We will run bible studies using the de-colonial framework developed in the earlier sessions.
In this 6-week book study, we will read Rev. Dr. King’s words and consider their implications for our nation today.
This is a raw, honest, informative, movement solidarity-building conversation. In light of the uprisings of the past week, it is not enough to perform wokeness. We need true solidarity. True solidarity requires an understanding of the historical and cultural roots and current-day patterns of white women’s betrayals of people of color. It will also require repair.
This seven (7) week webinar series is an ideal learning opportunity for those who seek to use their writing gifts for the cause of social justice and who want to build community with other writers who seek the same. It is great for seasoned as as well as young writers who want to hone their skills.
